Tasks
– Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
– Prescribe post-operation medication and treatment
– Treat diseases, injuries and deformities
– Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
– Act as consultants to other physicians
– Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
– Provide comprehensive medical care to women, focusing on reproductive health,
pregnancy management (pre-natal, postpartum care), and preventive screenings;
– Conduct routine physical exams such as Pap smears, breast exams, to managing high-risk pregnancies and counselling patients on contraception, fertility, and menopause.
