Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum of 1-year of experience as a food service supervisor or restaurant assistant manager is required.

Job details:

Salary: $37.00/ hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating daily restaurant operations to meet financial, service, and quality objectives.
Manage operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Dairy Queen standards for food quality, speed of service, and customer satisfaction.
Implement and monitor company policies, PRIDE systems, food safety practices, and health and sanitation standards.
Participate in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting by monitoring sales, labor costs, and inventory levels; take corrective actions where required.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluation of staff; recommend promotions and staffing adjustments.
Supervise and motivate team members, maintaining a positive work environment that promotes cooperation, efficiency, and employee retention.
Ensure adherence to cash control and security procedures; review shift reports and financial summaries.
Address escalated customer concerns professionally to maintain loyalty and repeat business.
Assist in developing and executing local store marketing activities, seasonal promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing compliance with ServSafe®, occupational health, and food handling regulations.
