Wage: $27.69 – $52.88 (Depends on Experience)
Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay, Tip

Job duties:
1. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
2. Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
3. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
4. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
5. Produce reports
6. Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
7. Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
8. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
9. Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
10. Participate in marketing plans and implementation
11. Recruit staff
12. Set staff work schedules
13. Monitor staff performance
14. Supervise staff
15. Conduct performance reviews
16. Train staff
17. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
18. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
19. Address customers’ complaints or concerns
20. Provide customer service

Job Requirement:
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma related to hospitality or food and beverage service management from a program of 1 year to 2 years OR equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
