Terms of Employment: Permanent Position / Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)/ Shift

Wage: $29.00 – $36.00 per hour (Depends on Experience)
Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job duties:
1. Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
2. Estimate labour costs
3. Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
4. Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
5. Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
6. Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
7. Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
8. Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
9. Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
10. Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Job Requirement:
· Language of Work: English
· Education: Trades certificate or diploma (in culinary arts/chef training, cooking and related culinary arts, general, restaurant, culinary and catering management/manager or other related field)
o or equivalent experience
· Experience: 2 year to less than 3 years (minimum)
