Business and Work Location: 11- 2121 Trans Canada Hwy E, Kamloops, BC, Canada, V2C 4A6

Terms of Employment:  Permanent Position / Full-Time (30-40 hours per week) / Shift

Vacancy: 1

Wage: $27.00 – $53.00 per hour (Depends on Experience)

Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job duties:

·         Plan and organize daily operations

·         Evaluate daily operations

·         Monitor revenues to determine labour cost

·         Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits

·         Monitor staff performance

·         Set staff work schedules

·         Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms

·         Organize and maintain inventory

·         Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

·         Address customers’ complaints or concerns

·         Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

·         Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

·         Cost products and services

·         Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies

·         Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget

·         Participate in marketing plans and implementation

 

Job Requirement:

·        Language of Work: English
·        Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years related to hospitality or food and beverage service management, OR equivalent experience
·        Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
·        Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses: Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
