We are looking a dedicated financial manager to join our professionals. Successful candidates
generally have experience with accounting, budgeting, auditing, financial planning, and related
tasks. Financial managerr applicant should have experience leading a team, preferably in a
financial office environment. However, for candidates with the right skills and qualifications,
leadership experience in volunteer positions or another capacity is acceptable.
Duties and responsblities
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of an accounting, audit or other
financial department
Act as liaison between the organization and its shareholders, the investing public and
external financial analysts
Make sure an organization complies with financial regulations and tax laws
Manage the budget and financial planning processes to maximize an organization’s
revenue
Develop and implement policies for finance and accounting departments
Manage investment strategies
Verify systems and processes in place and make changes whenever necessary
Oversee company payroll and leave requests
Manage, direct, and control daily processes
Provide adequate support to finance and accounting teams
Attend training sessions to learn industry trends, discover investment opportunities, and
understand how to use the latest financial software
Qualifications
Post secondary education in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoin
