West Coast Gardeners Co-op of BC, offer a variety of products in commercial grade to enhance your business. We have a wide range of products from chainsaw to hedge power with well-known brand. Our mechanics are experienced and knowledgeable to take a good care of your equipment. Now we are looking for a permanent and full time Small Engine Technician to join our team.

Job Duties:

Perform routine maintenance or repairs on small engines
Test and inspect engines to determine malfunctions, locate broken or missing parts, and to verify repairs
Reassemble engines after repair or maintenance work is complete
Keep accurate records of repairs made, time spent, and parts used
Prepare cost estimates for repairs
Assist with maintaining an organized shop
Provide customers on engine performance and maintenance information

Qualifications

·         Completion of Secondary School is required

·         Several years of work experience in engine and equipment repair, maintenance or mechanic are required

·         Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with accuracy and speed

·         Ability to create effective working relationships with other employees

Wage/Working Hours

·         Wage: $35.00 /hr

·         Hour: 30.00 hrs/week
