This role involves caring for children, facilitating their physical and mental development, and ensuring their well-being while engaging them in fun and constructive activities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Help parents care for the children in residence.
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Bathe, dress, and feed the children.
- Prepare formulas and healthy food for children
- Change diapers for the children.
- Oversee the children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the employer.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in the home.
- Do light housekeeping, such as tidying playrooms and the children’s bedroom.
- Do the children’s laundry and sterilize bottles and toys.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for the children.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Experience: Experience caring for children is an asset
- Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available or private parking is available.
- Licence of CPR is required.
- Criminal Record Check is required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, patience, repetitive tasks and physically demanding
- Personal Skills: healthy meal preparation, hygiene maintenance, and willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs of each child.
