·         Salary: 25.00 to 40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week

·         Terms of employment: Permanent employment / Full time / Shift / Day

·         Starts: as soon as possible

·         Vacancies: 1 vacancy

·         Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay

·         Other trades certificate or diploma

Experience

·         2 years of experience in commercial food preparation

 

WORK SETTING

·         Restaurant

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

·         Create new recipes

·         Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

·         Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff

·         Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods

·         Requisition food and kitchen supplies

·         Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

·         Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
