Job Description:
Tiger Taekwondo is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and direct the strategic and operational activities of the organization. The successful candidate will manage business operations across four taekwondo academy locations, support organizational growth, and ensure operational efficiency through effective leadership and resource management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the overall corporate operations, business development, and market expansion strategies of the Taekwondo organization.
• Formulate, approve, and implement unified operational policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and brand guidelines across all four corporate-owned locations.
• Direct and evaluate the operational, financial, and administrative performance of multiple academy locations to ensure consistency and profitability.
• Authorize and control annual corporate budgets, major expenditures, and strategic resource allocations for the corporate headquarters and branches.
• Oversee human resources management to recruit, train, and manage regional managers, branch managers, head instructors, and senior administrative staff.
• Approve and standardize advanced martial arts curricula, class schedules, and staff training protocols for the entire branch network.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with major suppliers, business partners, and regional educational institutions.
• Represent the organization as a senior executive in high-level business meetings, operational planning sessions, and corporate expansion projects.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $65.92 for 30 hours per week
Benefit: Vacation Pay 4%
Qualifications/Skill Requirements:
Education
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sport Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
Experience
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of senior management experience in a taekwondo academy, martial arts organization, or related sports education environment.
Skills
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple business operations and priorities simultaneously.
Language
• Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write English)
