Langley Meadows Animal Hospital

Langley Meadows Animal Hospital is looking for One Veterinary Assistant who could join immediately.

Below are details:

Work location: 6233 200 St #7, Langley, BC V2Y 1A2
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
Work hours: 40 hours/week
Terms: Permanent full-time

Language of work: English

Work Setting: Animal Hospital

 

Job duties and responsibilities

Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian
Identify livestock
Counsel clients on animal health care
May perform a variety of office management and clerical duties
Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
Provide wound and bandage care
 

Requirements

• Education: Secondary School
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
