Noodlebox is a Canadian-based fast-casual restaurant chain that specializes in customizable, wok-fired Asian street food. Noodlebox, in Sault Ste Marie ON, is looking for 1 food service supervisor to supervise the daily operations of the restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise staff by scheduling and coordinating work assignments, evaluating employee performance in conjunction with the manager
• Plan, direct, and supervise the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and the proper use of equipment in a safe and sanitary environment.
• Ensure the training of staff in terms of their tasks, hygiene and safety standards
• Monitor and ensure a consistent level of quality and food service in accordance with established standards
• Order food and non-food supplies, check deliveries and maintain inventory records
• Complete assigned shift paperwork and other reports
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Provide customer service and address customer complaints or concerns
• Ensure all health and safety regulations in the restaurant are followed
Skill Requirements:
• 2 years of restaurant/ food service experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Must be a team player with an exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
• Ability to supervise and organize work
• Ability to operate related equipment
• Ability to work all shifts including night, weekends and holidays
• Completion of high school is required. Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
